ClawtropiViews: An Interview with Fierce Flyer & Sporty Boa!

Hey there, Clawtropicans! It’s me Purple Claw, and I have some great news for you! Interviews are back on Clawtropica, baby! And as you read on the title above, I’m going to be interviewing some dear friends of mine, Fierce Flyer and Sporty Boa!

Sporty Boa & Fierce Flyers are loyal members of the Poptropica fandom, and both of them blog at their own sites, Fierce Flyer Adventures & Sporty Boa Blog! I highly recommend checking them out, because there are some pretty interesting posts in-store. 😛

**Keep in mind that if you want me to interview you, all you have to do is be patient, and I just might do it. Nothing is guaranteed. With that said, let’s get started with the interview, shall we?

#1. HEY GUYS! CAN YOU SHORTLY DESCRIBE YOURSELVES TO US?

Sporty Boa: I would describe myself as a kid with big dreams and goals… And an Afro. Also I’d like to say that I’m humorous, laid back and always trying to stay positive! (It’s a bit hard in this day and age!) How would I describe me and Fierce? Inseparable. We’re best friends and bros that sometimes drive each other crazy! XD

Fierce Flyer: Hey, my name is Fierce Flyer and I own a blog over at Fierce Flyer Adventures, I’m a pre-teen who loves to write, read, and create anything that comes to mind!

#2. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING POPTROPICA?

Sporty Boa: How long have I been playing Poptropica? Hmm, about 6 to 7 years.

Fierce Flyer: I believe I got into Poptropica around late 2011 where I amazedly watched my sister play the game, and at that moment I knew that I’d have to try it for myself! At the time to me, it was literally the best game I’ve ever played in my life.

#3. FROM SCALE 1-10, HOW WOULD YOU RATE POPTROPICA WORLDS?

Sporty Boa: Eh, as of now I’d give it a… Drumroll… 6.5?

Fierce Flyer: I’d rate Poptropica Worlds a 6-10. I feel as if it’s off to a good start but there’s still a lot to update and do to make the game better, to name a few, more costumes, a colorizer, and more socially interactive things to do in your house, and the home island. But at the end of the day, it just started, I’m sure when Poptropica first released things weren’t perfect and I think we should give Worlds time to get better ‘cuz it’ll happen eventually.

#4. DO YOU PREFER CRISIS CAVERNS OR THE REMASTERED 24 CARROT?

Sporty Boa: Good question, but I’ll have to say Crisis Caverns because it was such an anticipated island for me and the graphics and scenery were really neat. Plus, I dug the mole people! (Pun intended)

Fierce Flyer: I’d have to say Crisis Caverns because the visuals were absolutely spectacular! Though I’d prefer a more intriguing and longer gameplay I still enjoyed it a lot more than expected!

#5. WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE ON POPTROPICA WORLDS?

Sporty Boa: My favorite feature on PW so far is the Store and the fact that we can now buy clothes, shoes, and hair separate from each other. It makes you poptropican have a much more unique look and style! (I would’ve said the new colorizer but um… yeah.)

Fierce Flyer: My favorite feature on Pop Worlds is, agree with SB here, the customization option! The store is still fresh and new and will probably have a lot more options in the future but for me, I’ve found my temporary style in PW and it’s… well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress.

#6. BESIDES POPTROPICA, ARE THERE ANY OTHER GAMES YOU GUYS ARE FANS OF?

Sporty Boa: Other games? I haven’t really played any computer games recently. *People gasp in the background* But when I’m not on Pop, I’m usually on social media or watching YouTube on my computer/phone.

Fierce Flyer: Other games, hmm… TBH games that enjoy playing revolve around Sports or games like Roblox and stuff down that lane. I also like playing board games, like chess and Monopoly!

#7. WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT THIS FANDOM?

Sporty Boa: Like I’ve never said before, it’s the people that make a community great, and Poptropica’s fandom is no exception. The people I’ve met here are amazing and have very unique personalities. To me, that’s what makes us even more special!

Fierce Flyer: Joining the fandom had to be one of the greatest decisions of my life, everyone here is so nice and friendly here and easy to talk to. My favorite thing about the fandom is how welcoming we are to others whether it’s new bloggers or long time bloggers coming back, everyone has so much hospitality.

#8. WHEN DID YOU JOIN THE POPTROPICA COMMUNITY?

Sporty Boa: I don’t really know the exact time I joined the Pop community however, I remember that I created my blog in Late January 2017, so I’d say maybe in December or early January was when I started to get involved!

Fierce Flyer: I joined on November 6th, 2016 I believe. A few days after my birthday I decided I’d give blogging a try after getting inspiration from Clawtropica itself!

#9. SINCE YOU’RE BOTH BLOGGERS, DO YOU ENJOY BLOGGING ABOUT POP?

Sporty Boa: Do I enjoy blogging? Yeah! Do I enjoy blogging with my lil’ brother? Heck yeah! I find writing my ideas, thoughts and stories on my blog very fun and enjoyable, it’s one of ya boi’s favorite hobbies now!

Fierce Flyer: Blogging is amazing! It’s so much fun to express your opinions on Poptropica, or anything for that matter! It’s also helped me with my typing skillz and being persistent in my blog.

#10. NOW, LET’S GO TO SOMETHING MORE OFF-TOPIC. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS AND TV SHOWS?

Sporty Boa: Oooh, FF and I looove books! I’m currently reading a series by Erin Hunter called ‘Bravelands’ and it’s really good! I also love my TV shows, my favorite being Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles… I know it sounds a bit childish, but trust me recent episodes have been far from kiddy and cheesy. I highly suggest you check it out!

Fierce Flyer: Books! I love them! Lately, I’ve been reading a lot so I’ve definitely got my summer reading down. For TV shows I’m a big fan of Ninjago (might’ve heard about the new Lego Ninjago movie coming out, so excited)! Another of my favorite shows is Sonic Boom, it’s just a hilarious, 4th wall breaking comedy with Sonic the Hedgehog!

#11. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO SAY TO ANYONE WHO’S READING THIS POST?

Sporty Boa: I’d just like to say: Sup cool kids, Stay awesome! *Dabs* On a serious note, Be yourself and treat others the way you’d like to be treated!

Fierce Flyer: As SB said be yourself and don’t let others influence you to do the bad thing!
