New Poptropica Worlds Island

Hi everyone. I am here to tell you about Poptropica Worlds newest island, 24 Carrot! It is basically the same island with a couple of tweaks. NOTE: Below has spoilers about Poptropica Worlds version of 24 Carrot. Do not continue reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.

On Poptropica Worlds, there is no multiplayer option so far. Therefore, the theater common room is replaced by a carrot museum. In Poptropica Worlds version, you will need to get a ticket from the museum to give to the lady in the diner in exchange for milk.

In this version, there is no Smelter Room. Instead, when you fall you are in a part of the vents where the Drone Ears is. One huge item that doesn’t exist in this version is the Carrot Transporter. Also, the hair colorizer in the diner is gone.

The biggest difference is the mini-game at the end of the island. In Poptropica Original version, you moved the rabbot to hit four meteors. In Poptropica Worlds version, the rabbot sends droids that you are to shoot with lasers from the factory.

Here is the trophy you get for completing 24 Carrot.

Cars 3

Hi everyone! There is a new ad located on both the Original Poptropica and Poptropica Worlds! This ad is for the upcoming Pixar movie Cars 3.

I’ll start by introducing the Original Poptropica version.

Enter the room and go to the right until you reach a sign that says, “Get Back in the Race.” Click it to play a mini-game. In this game, you get to play as one of three characters Cruz Ramirez, Lightning McQueen, or Jackson Storm. Your goal is to avoid obstacles, get boosts, and make it to the finish line.

When you complete the game, you get two prizes a Racing Outfit, and a Lightning Power.

Now it’s time to introduce Poptropica Worlds’ version of the ad. The ad is also found on the T.V. in your home.

 

On Poptropica Worlds, it is just a video ad. Watch the video and you’ll get a Lightning McQueen Hat. Really matches my outfit since I chose a red hoodie for my beginning outfit.

 

Also if you check your home decor, you’ll find a Cars 3 Poster.

April’s Islands of the Month

Hi everyone! I am here to tell you about March’s Islands of the Month! April is Wimpy Kid Month! In celebration of Wimpy Kid Month, the creators have selected Wimpy Boardwalk and Wimpy Wonderland as Aprils IOTM! This means that both islands will be open to all members during April! If you haven’t played these islands yet, go and play them because starting next month they will again be locked for members only.

If this is your fist time completing these islands, you’ll earn 500 credits per island. If you’re replaying these islands, you get 300 credits per island! If you are having trouble with the islands below are the walkthroughs. The first one is for Wimpy Boardwalk Island and the second one is for Wimpy Wonderland.

Snowpocalypse, Beauty, Beast, and Hands?

Hi everyone! Big news! Poptropica has a new mini-game called Snowpocalypse! It’s amazing! In the game, you throw snowballs at Poptropica villains. Try and stay alive as long as possible! You die when you’ve been hit 5 times. You can find the game in the billboard on Home Island. Click on that the game billboard to access the game.

There is also a new Beauty and the Beast ad. This one is a video ad.

Watch the video to get a Rose Transformation Power. When used, it changes all other people to Beauty and the Beast characters!

The creators have given us another preview of Poptropica Worlds! This time, they are showing us how avatars will change. Our new avatars will have hands! Poptropica fans have been super excited about this change! (Click the images to enlarge them!)

Here is a look at how our avatars will change!

Not only are our avatars getting hands, but they’re taller. They also now have joints, and feets.This is possible since Poptropica Worlds is built using Unity and Spine! Now we have more customization options for our avatars!

Tangled: The Series

Hi everyone! There is a new ad on Poptropica for Disney Channel’s upcoming series, Tangled: The Series based off the movie Tangled! This show premieres on March 10th at 8pm.

When you get inside, click on Cassandra to play a mini-game. In this mini-game, your job is to find items and Rapunzel.

When you complete the game you get two prizes a Tangled Braids and a Pascal Follower! Everyone, even males, can experience Rapunzel’s braids.

Beauty and the #PoptropicaLove winners!

Hi everyone! There is a new ad in Poptropica for Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. The movie premieres in theaters March 17th!

This is an video ad. Watch the video to get a Lumiere Follower. The Lumiere Follower is the first follower, that I know of, that comes with a special effect! Press space to see him glow!

#MyPoptropicaCostume Winners and Runner-Ups Announced

Hi everybody! Today the creators finally announced the winners and runner-ups for the #MyPoptropicaCostume contest!

According to the creators, there were over 750 entries which they made a first cut of 150 entries then a second cut of 75 entries. After weeks of looking through entries and weeks of Poptropicans eagerly waiting for results, the creators finally did it! The two grand prize winners who will both receive a six-month membership, have their costume sold in the store, and have it worn by a NPC on Home Island is… Creepy Peanut and Speedy Toes! Congratulations to both of you! Below are their entries with the exact description posted by Skinny Moon!

“Ocean Princess” by Creepy Peanut The Poptropica Creators loved this mermaid entry’s beautiful design, and we thought that many Poptropicans would really like this costume. We will make a merman version, too!

“Hip Hop Boy” by Speedy Toes This costume appealed to the Poptropica Creators because it’s full of action. We think we can come up with some cool actions to go with the costume, and it’ll be fun for all Poptropicans!

The 20 runner-ups

The creators have also picked 20 runner-ups! From these 20, we get to vote for the top 10 entries! The top ten winners will each get a three-month membership and have their costumes sold in the store! Here are the rules for voting as posted by Skinny Moon!
