Hey there, Clawtropicans! It’s me, Purple Claw, and today, I’m going to review one of my favorite islands, Arabian Nights!
Recently, I made a review for another island, Time Tangled. If you missed that post, click here to read it! However, that post (and the one you’re reading right now) contains spoilers, so if you don’t wanna be spoiled, make sure to play this island after reading this post. Now, let’s get started!
THE BASICS
[Episode 1: How Bazaar] After the forty thieves ransack his city, a desperate sultan has one request: find the thieves’ lair, and bring back his most cherished possession!
[Episode 2: Lair of Thieves] In the den of the forty thieves, danger lurks around every corner. To outwit the most dangerous thieves in the desert, you’ll need a little help evening the odds — and you’ll find it in the form of an incredible magic power!
[Episode 3: Careful What You Wish For] The genie is out of the bottle, and now everyone wants a chance to make their wishes come true. But whether you’re a greedy merchant, a lovelorn palace guard, or a Sultan with a long-buried secret, heed this advice: be careful what you wish for!
Arabian Nights is Poptropica’s 41th island in chronological order. It’s an amazing episodic adventure, with super storylines and memorable characters. I wouldn’t quite say it’s educational, but it sure has great morals! I had an awesome time playing it, and if you haven’t played this island yet, I suggest you to do so, because I’m sure you’ll have lots and lots of fun! Anyway, this island was suggested by a Poptropica fan that won the Create Your Dream Island contest. Well, anyway, let’s pass on our next category (A.K.A. my favorite one)…
STORYLINE
Episode 1, How Bazaar: On this episode, your quest is to figure out where the forty thieves live. There are lots of trading and going back and forth on this episode, and that’s what actually ruined the fun experience for me. How Bazaar didn’t have a lot of potential, just like the other episodes did.
Episode 2, Lair of Thieves: That’s when the story starts getting better! On this terrific episode, you’ll have to bring back Sultan’s lamp from the thieves’ hideout. That isn’t easy, though! You’ll have to watch out for thieves that lie on each corner of the lair…
Episode 3, Careful What You Wish For: The third part on this island is placed in the same place as episode one, but it’s still pretty interesting! You’ll have to catch the genie to make Sultan’s family happy again. I like the fact that this episode has a great moral: that family love is incomparable! So adorable!
VISUALS/ART
What can I even say about this island? The backgrounds are absolutely magical! I adore the style, the animation and the colors! They’re so well combined together, it’s like a symphony (only that it isn’t music)! 😆
I can’t even decide which episode has a better art style! How Bazaar showcases the beauty of the sky, Lair of Thieves has awesome backgrounds and textures, and Careful What You With For has both!
SOUNDTRACK
Besides the awesome storyline and the terrific art, this island has also a few enchanting soundtracks that I, personally, could listen to them all day! Nice job, Jeff Heim! You’re an awesome musician! XD
See what I mean? Isn’t this a true masterpiece? By the way, to be honest with you, Arabian Nights has actually more soundtracks, but I only featured one (which happens to be my favorite) because I don’t wanna spoil everything, so, play this island as soon as possible!

FINAL THOUGHTS
This Island is on the top on my favorite islands list, right after Astro-Knights, of course! Now, you know why I adore this island so much, and I hope you love it as much as I do! And if you don’t, that’s fine! I’m just sharing my silly opinion!

I will, no worries! I tried to play episode 3 once. It glitched, started me over twice, then I couldn’t get the geode. But all glitches aside, I like the island. XD
