Interviewing a Poptropica Creator: Skinny Moon!

Hey, Clawtropicans! It’s me Purple Claw, with a special post! This time I’ll be interviewing a Poptropica Creator, Skinny Moon!

You probably know by now, that Skinny Moon is Poptropica’s social media manager and a blogger on the Creator’s Blog. She was kind enough to let interview her, so let’s get started right now! 😀

PC: Skinny Moon, how did you discover Poptropica?

SM: My friend worked for Poptropica and she told me about it!

PC: How did you become Poptropica’s social media manager?

SM: A couple years ago I found out that Poptropica’s parent company, FEN (now StoryArc Media), needed a social media manager for Galactic Hot Dogs. I interviewed for the job and got it! Then in August 2015 FEN asked me if I wanted to take on Poptropica — and of course I said yes!

PC: Which is your favorite island? How about your favorite villain?

SM: Mystery of the Map. I love the characters! Favorite villain… I think I have to say Captain Crawfish or else I’ll get in trouble with him. Ha!

PC: Could you give us, if you want, some information about the release of the New Poptropica?

SM: Sorry, my lips are sealed!

PC: What are your hobbies what do you like to do in your free time?

SM: My hobbies include crafting (like making Christmas ornaments) and writing. I like to spend time with my family, coach girls’ soccer, read, and take long walks with my friends and our dogs.

PC: What is your favorite food? Which is your favorite color?

SM: Favorite food: ice cream. I loooooove ice cream. All ice cream. Favorite color: blue.

PC: Besides Poptropica, do you play any other games?

SM: I like playing lots of different Wii games with my family. I also like to try out new apps with my kids and see how they use the apps and all the cool stuff they do. Favorites in my house include Minecraft, Toca Boca, Panda Pop, Frozen Free Fall, Adventure Pig, Worm.is, and of course, Poptropica!

SM: Poptropica fans are THE BEST! And I’m really excited about the cool stuff we have coming up for you (that I can’t talk about) — you guys are going to love it all!
